千呼萬喚使出來!!
BFDA(Bike Furniture Design Asia)的第一版本型錄終於出盧，在此特別感謝我們的視覺設計總監Josh Hsh和平面攝影師Ozzy。
此次的設計主題以"零Km/hr"，表現出單車家具是以一種"零速度"的體驗感，無論擺設於陽灑的室外木台上，還是安靜的坐落於水泥地板上，它所散發出的一種力量，影響了周遭空氣的流動，充沛環境於美學設計下，感受一種"零Km/hr"的碰撞。

LOWRIDER BIKE
早期有聽說一個有關Lowrider的故事；述說在90年代的紐約，只要有條子看到街上有小鬼騎著Lowrider bike，即會向前盤查和搜身。在當時的紐約，Lowrider好像就等同於槍隻、毒品、兵器的代號，而在那時候能騎著Lowrider bike在紐約街頭上的小鬼，一定有著黑幫背景。到了現代，Lowrider bike與hip hop形成多數印象，美國東岸偏向Heavy感，西岸則比較Light；而其實Lowrider還代表著一種手工藝品，每年在美國各地，現在連在歐洲有些國家，以及日本，都會舉辦Lowrider的創作大賽，它代表著另種群族的精神和態度，它所能呈現出的美感，是獨一無二，沒有任何其他的bike可以取代。這就是LOWRIDER!

Derringer Cycles
"Old-fashioned"，這類復古的風格感一直會讓我嗅到一絲絲乾燥氣味又帶著沙粒的畫面，但卻又可180度的轉向到東京六本目的潮流巷弄與公共藝術交錯的街道景像。Derringer Cycles是一個用現代感的搭配來闡述早期在1920年就有的Track racing motorcycles競賽活動的車型，並使用新的配件(規格如下)讓這個復刻版的Derringer Cycles變成為在城市可騎乘代步的交通工具。

Performance
Top speed for off-road only models can exceed 35 mph. Derringers designated for road use are modified so as not to exceed the power and speed limitations imposed on motorized bicycles by the laws of the region in which they will operate. This can vary from 20 mph to 40mph depending on city, state, or country.

每個人心目中都有幾位敬仰的大師，Fabien Barral這位法國平面設計師，我想應該會是目前佔據我平面視覺設計大師的寶座。
每個人心目中都有幾位敬仰的大師，Fabien Barral這位法國平面設計師，我想應該會是目前佔據我平面視覺設計大師的寶座。
在設計的領域中，工具是個不可獲缺的左右幫手，越懂得如何運用工具，越能完整的呈現心中想要表達的視覺印象。
將心中的想法用像這類姑且稱為感性並帶者原始觸感的設計表現在各各不同主題上，它所能牽引的不只在設計的技巧和品味，而是在內心所激起反映在五官感上，或許嗅到草皮、煙火、咖啡香等等在你看到這些水彩、不受拘束、自由卻好像又有規劃的撒落在那區塊的黃金點上，畫面的組成恰如其分，色調色溫也那麼的均和。
或許是剛好對到我的口味，但每每再回頭看到這些作品，還是一樣，一口咖啡，一次誇讚，希望有那麼一天，我也有這樣的內力，灑脫的幫客戶創作理想作品!

BFDA
BFDA - Bike Furniture Design Asia為Bike Furniture在亞洲的營運中心，其一使命為以手工打造出BFD由Andy Gregg所設計之作品；另一方面，Bayliss Wu以台灣為創意設計中心，延用自行車零件不設界限地嚐試做出更多的創意可能。
BFDA(Bike Furniture Design Asia) is a design and manufacturing company in collaboration with American design expert Andy Gregg specializing in the development of contemporary modern furniture with a unique twist: the collection's pieces are designed utilizing bicycle components including rims, handlebars and frames.
Founder Bayliss Wu has a lofty goal for Taiwan-based BFDA: to become the operations center for the production of the Andy Gregg furniture line.
