XXXX THE JAMBOREE 3から約3週間後、再び船に乗って犬島へ渡った。快晴。気になっていたあの真っ黒な建物、初めて中に入った。

Three weeks after XXXX THE JAMBOREE 3, I got into a boat and visited Inujima again. Perfect weather. I finally entered the black building I had been interested in.
船の時間とツアーの時間は連絡していて、受付を済ませると段取りよくツアーの説明が始まるようにアレンジされている。

建物の中にある絵画などを鑑賞するのではなく、島に残された建物を活かした作品を巡るフィールドツアーは、想像を裏切り、非常に新鮮で興味深い体験だった。

知ることによってそれが損なわれてしまうので、写真の掲載もほどほどに。そう思わせるほどに、犬島アートプロジェクト。

TREESからの帰り道でゆうきに会った。大阪からはOGUも帰って来ていて、ちょうどTIGHTBOOTHの撮影をしているところだった。午前4時前の出来事。

I met Yuki on the way home from TREES. He told me Ogu was here coming back from Osaka, and he was skateboarding right there to shoot an upcoming film for TIGHTBOOTH. It was almost 4 in the morning. 

When I stepped out the front door, I found the sky had its vivid color of blue and clouds made beautiful patterns of  autumn.

思えば10年来の付き合いになる仲間達。Familyの帰り、雨模様の朝を今になっても覚えてる。そして仲間達は今もなお表現し続けている。それでもあなたはまだ私がどこへ向かっているのかを問うのだろうか。

I realize we know each other for more than ten years. I clearly remember the rainy morning after the party at Shibuya Family. And they don't stop to express their point of view by any means even now. Still, do you ask me where I'm going to?

雨上がりの緑が好きだ。あいにく雨は降り続けていたけれど、濡れた緑はまるでPhotoshopのトーンカーブを少し上に調整したかのように、普段よりも明るく生き生きとしているように見える。

I like the forest when it gets wet after rain. Unfortunately It was still raining, it looked more fresh and brighter than usual as if retouched a little bit by changing its tone in Photoshop.

国立公園にもなっているこの場所では、まだ人の手が加わっていない状態の自然を目にし、感じることができる。もちろんLIVEでだ。

As here was designated a national park, I can feel and smell live nature untouched by someone's hands yet.

グシャッと折れ曲がった木は誰にも邪魔者扱いされることなく、あるがままの姿でその場所に受け入れられ、音を立てることなく、静かに時間に身をゆだねる。

The twisted tree is accepted into this atomosphere as is. Then It sleeps in the forest, silently and undisturbed.

まるでバナナの様な形をしたキノコがそこら中の木から生えている。昨今のニュースではキノコ中毒の話題をよく耳にするけれど、はたしてこのキノコはどうなんだろう。おそらく毒の？

I found many mushrooms shaped like future bananas growing on the trees around. These days, I often read articles about mushroom poisoning. Which one is this?

1時間ぐらい歩いただろうか。しばらく続いた緑のアーチを抜けると、それまでの道のりを見下ろせる場所に出た。その光景を見て思ったよ。来て良かった。

About 1 hour later, I got to the place where I was able to look down the way I'd been through. And I think, I was right to come.

"You can get it if you really want."  Mine was not that special, but I had decided to visit there on Monday.
本当に望むものであれば、何としてでも手に入れるだろう。それほどのものではないけれど、月曜日に行こうと決めていた。

The weather forecast turned out to be just forecast. I heard it's been raining outside since last night, repeating to change its loudness. Why this stupid idea poped up in my head, and why I was about to make it happen? I was wondering those in a car heading to the far North.
天気予報はやはり予報でしかなく、前の晩から降り始めた雨は朝になっても変わらず、強くなったり弱くなったりを繰り返しながら、今も音を立てて降り続けている。どうしてこんな突拍子もないことを思いつき、今まさに実行に移そうとそこへ向かっているんだろう。北へ北へと向かう車中ではそんなことを考えていた。

I asked a lady from an unfamiliar town the way to parking lots. Although I was a bit shocked with her atiitude, I was able to make it without getting lost. With two water bottles in my backpack, my GR in my right hand and a cheap umbrella in my left hand just to comfort me.
見知らない街の人に駐車場への道を尋ねる。そのぶっきらぼうな返事に少し戸惑いながらも、迷うことなく、ふもとの駐車場へたどり着くことができた。バックパックにペットボトル2本、右手にカメラ、左には気休めのコンビニ傘。
