Round 2 of the last Xmas party continued at HOME club on last Saturday. It was really a CRAZY session, as there was a free flow of alcohol for 3 hours. Once again, i've played another mad set with Inquisitive. The crowd cheered on and left with smiley faces by the end of the night. Some were found drunk and laid flat on the floors. Both Inquisitive and myself were dead tired as well after the set. Damn! Our party is getting crazier each time! Enjoy the photos.
Many thanks to Jiahao and Paul for the photos. For more photos, please checkout their Facebook profiles. Cheers :)
Merry Xmas everyone! We had an insane, mad, crazy, and awesome party last night. Inquisitive and myself are glad to know that everyone had a good time. Many thanks to everyone that came down to support us! See ya guys again on this Saturday, 27th Dec at HOME club. The party shall continues over there. By the way, there's a free flow of alcohol on this Saturday, so please do come by early :)
Yama from Damn Arms, also known as G.L.O.V.E.S is in town this week, and he had played the finest sounds of Aussie's electro at Butter Factory. It was a good night out for everyone, and i'm glad to have meet up with him finally; as we've been keeping in touch on Myspace.
Seeya soon, Yama! Have a safe trip home, hopefully we can meet up again in Sydney/Melbourne February 2009!
Zoukout is an annual dance/electronia music festival in Singapore, and it usually happens in the month of December. Every year, various DJs and bands from all around the world will grace the stage and perform at their very best. This year DJs line-up includes Henrik Schwarz, Sasha, Dirty South, Dimitri From Paris, DJ Yoda, DJ Pippi, Above & Beyond, and Erol Alkan; bands line-up includes Nouvelle Vague, The Teenagers; local acts such as Novobloco, Electrico, Moods and Zouk's resident DJs also performed. MSTRKRFT was cancelled at the last minute, and they were replaced by Vicarious Bliss.
I'm was pretty excited to catch Erol Alkan this year, as he's one of my favourite and most influential DJ, other than 2ManyDJs or Streetlife DJs. And so, i went down to the festival with a few other friends in our Erol's groupie t-shirt. The t-shirts really drew alot attention, as many on-lookers and friends kept looking and laughing at us. But we wouldn't care-less, hahaha. :X
Erol never failed to impress me with his tight mixing and great selection of tracks on that night. He came and conquered us all. It was one of his better set i've ever heard; the set was deep and hard, and he dropped 10cc - "I'm Not In Love" towards the end of his set; it was the most beautiful and lovely track for the night. The track sent everyone into a frenzy mode, and made everyone felt so much in love. Till now, the song still haunts me in my head :)

Isn't that hilarious? Steve Aoki's stage dive finally failed last week! He just crashed straight onto the floors! Oh by the way, this is like his 3rd visit to Singapore, and we're beginning to feel sick about him.

2 more days to Zoukout Festival, and i'm getting excited and looking forward to Erol Alkan's set!
Hi everyone, this is my first posting here, and i shall give a brief introduction of myself. My name is Kurt and i'm a DJ/party promoter from the small "boring" island of Singapore. Stuff that i do daily are more or less related to music or the club scene here. And of coz, i'm one of the members of this electro/techno group/act called Clash The Disko Kids. You can check us out at our Myspace.
By the way, i would like to thank DJ Mykal and Syaron for inviting me to this awesome blog. Through this blog, i would love to share the many interesting activities or stuff that i've came across. Hope everyone will keep checking out here for the updates.
